notes:
I'd rather have something I drove than pulled, though that 1958 camper was cool. "You're always pulling something," my wife says to me. I'm always pulled back to Joshua Tree... where the cowboys and hippies all wanna be. Joshua Tree, where the land rises up and embraces me. I never thought I'd have the courage to roam. I never thought I'd call California home. "It was my idea," my wife says to me, "and you're welcome for Joshua Tree..." where the cowboys and hippies all wanna be. Joshua Tree, where the land rises up and embraces me. "So what do we have for a song so far?" I askk my wife as we ride in the car. She proceeds to read my lyrics to me. This song seems to about Joshua Tree... Joshua Tree... Joshua Tree... Joshua Tree...
