notes:
Back in Palm Springs for the day, lettin' the rest of the world go by. It's a wintry 68 degrees. A butterfly flutters by. Tryin' to be optimistic, soakin' up the desert sun. And then the clouds come rollin' in. I've surrendered my quest for alchemy, and pretty much everything else. I lost control a long time ago. I wish I could blame someone else. Tryin' to be optimistic, soakin' up the desert sun. And then the clouds come rollin' in. I'm a dinosaur destined for extinction. I'm a black and white television set. I'm a 25 cent paperback novel. I'm dial-up internet. Tryin' to be optimistic, soakin' up the desert sun. And then the clouds come rollin' in. Copyright 2017 Gregg M. Pasterick All Rights Reserved.
